Where Is Christopher, from Netflix’s “Love Con Revenge” now?
Cosmopolitan | Christopher Earl Lloyd built romantic relationships with a series of women, convincing them he was a former professional baseball player turned investment broker.
He matched with his targets on dating apps and encouraged them to let him help with their investments. He didn’t invest their money. He stole it.
And now, he’s part of a Netflix series called Love, Con, Revenge. One of his victims reached out to veteran private investigator Brianne Joseph and The Tinder Swindler's target, Cecilie Fjellhøy, for help. And they did.
They located him and brought the information to Erin West, a leading romance fraud investigator and former assistant district attorney, who took on the case and pressed charges against Chris.
Where is Christopher now? He’s in federal custody, charged with 13 counts of wire fraud and another count involving an investment property. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison for each count of wire fraud. The property count could bring add an extra 10 years. The FBI is still investigating the matter.
